Our IAAPA 2025 Recap
Another fantastic show at IAAPA 2025, as always a great chance to reconnect with Partners, Clients, and colleagues across the Visitor Attractions World. It was also a brilliant week for the New Vue team to get together in person.
We enjoyed an airboat ride, played golf with GKWD, played more golf at TopGolf during our Monday evening session. It turns out some of us are better with data than a driver.
We even found time for an early 5k run.
Now the Turkey is digesting, and so are our thoughts after the show. Apart from the fun, a few industry takeaways from my perspective:
1. Many attractions still struggle to bring their data together.
Disconnected systems, manual data entry, and siled operations continue to limit how fast teams can make decisions. On the flip side, those who have structured their businesses accordingly are seeing the benefits- please look out for case studies soon!
2. There’s pressure to bring AI to everything.
AI is tremendously valuable, but it has to be coordinated with clear use cases and deployed properly. The fundamentals still matter, rubbish in rubbish out. Any system output is reliant on the quality of data it is given, this is also true with AI.
3. Our refined OverVue solution out of the box was a huge hit this year!
Through the end of 2024 and 2025 we really focused on Revenue vs Labor comparisons in near real time. Nearly everyone who uses this optimized labor costs proving a real success for our clients.
4. We will release details of 2 new integration partners before 2025 is finished. More details to follow!
A huge thank you to everyone who visited the booth, shared ideas, gave feedback, or stopped by for a chat.
