Xtreme Action Park
Xtreme Action Park, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is the largest indoor entertainment venue. Spanning over 200,000 sq. ft. in size, the venue hosts go karting, escape rooms, arcade games, mini golf, and so much more!
Goals
Xtreme Action Park wanted a centralized, real time view of their business to replace fragmented reporting across attractions, POS, and payroll systems. The goal was to enable faster, more confident decision making across operations, labor, and revenue.
Strategy
Implement fully integrated OverVue dashboards and automated reporting across all major data sources. The focus being on delivering hour by hour visibility so leadership could identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities as they happened.
The Challenge
Xtreme Action Park struggled to manage all their data across their many disconnected systems. Much of their data was spread across multiple systems like their point of sales, payroll, and games/attraction, requiring manual data pulls across all the different systems to answer simple business questions. Without the ability to effectively look at this data side by side, leadership lacked a clear understanding of the business.
Decision making speed was also a major challenge. Identifying issues such as overstaffing or understaffing, underperforming games or popular games, and other opportunities for change would take hours or even days to see. By then, major inefficacies lingered and potential opportunities were missed, slowing operations as a whole.
What We Did
New Vue began working with Xtreme Action Park in 2020 and immediately began to integrate a solution through Over Vue dashboards. Now, each data source was consolidated into one master view and automated to eliminate manual reporting. Leadership across Xtreme Action Park now receive daily reports covering data relevant to their department and role.
In addition to bringing all their data into one report, New Vue built on top of their data, creating insights they didn’t have before. New insights such as labor versus revenue, channel breakdowns, and even hour by hour visibility of their games and attractions.
The Results
Improved Operations Efficiency
Xtreme Action Park can quickly identify inefficiencies across staffing, terminals, and guest flow. Metrics such as transactions by terminal, average spend per guest, and repeat visit behavior allow teams to spot bottlenecks and performance gaps immediately. As a result, operational adjustments can be made faster, helping the park maintain efficiency while delivering a consistently strong guest experience.
Automated Reporting
Automated reporting replaced manual data pulls and static monthly summaries, delivering real-time insights directly to leadership and management teams. Sales performance, product trends, and revenue breakdowns are now continuously updated and instantly accessible through OverVue dashboards.
Improved Game Insights
OverVue’s product analysis dashboards give Xtreme Action Park a clear breakdown of revenue by attraction, product, and revenue center, along with historical sales trends over time. Leadership can easily see which offerings drive the largest share of revenue, how product performance evolves throughout the year, and where growth or decline is occurring.
Advanced Labor Analytics
Using OverVue’s labor analytics, Xtreme can now directly correlate labor costs with revenue across roles and departments, giving clear visibility into workforce efficiency. With insights available at the weekly, daily, and hourly level, the team can quickly identify staffing trends and optimize labor to match demand.
"The in-depth time and day reporting details truly helped us identify our biggest strengths and weaknesses in our operations and sales. Being able to track everything to an hour level helped us optimize our operations beyond what was currently imaginable. Better than ever before, we could now visualize and track trends across seasons, weeks, days, and hours within a day. "
